The coronation of the 40th Oba of Benin, Oba Ewuare II. Oba Ewuare II was given the staff of Office  by the Comr. Governor, Adams Oshiomhole.

The ceremony was a double one as Oba Ewuare II marked his 63rd birthday today. The celebration is expected to continue in Benin as there is joy among the people of Benin Kingdom..

The ceremony was graced by dignitaries including Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Prominent Royal fathers were also present; Sultan of Sokoto, Oni of Ife,  Obi of Onitsha and other Royal fathers, also present was Aliko Dangote, Members of the National Assembly and members of the diplomatic corps and others.
